As a dad, there are times there are things that are difficult to say, and we don't always say them as gentle as we perhaps should ...but, my children don't really need to hear this.
This is not because they are mostly getting all grown up ...it is because they already have heard it. Not saying necessarily that they had to ...but, they have.
So, as I said, even though I'm not your Dad ...I believe our Heavenly Father would want me to tell you.
And I can never be certain to tell how others are ...but, would some people perchance later want me to apologize for not telling you??
Are there circumstances where you'd consider telling a lie to others?? Or what if others lied ...

Often we don't pay that much attention to what people say ...but often more is said of when it is considered a trial, as in a courtroom trial.
If a crime is committed, the person on trial may say he is innocent.
Usually three conclusions are drawn.
Two of them come immediately to mind ...that the person is either telling the truth, or he is telling a lie.
I worked in the field of mental health, and there were two other pleas, if you please ...which I'm grouping together under that third designation of being mentally ill. Those pleas are (NGRI) 'not guilty by reason of insanity', and (IST) 'incompetent to stand trial'. And it was assumed that these pleas also say the person did truthfully commit the act, yet not really competent. It is accepted as such ...and we are to assume they either don't have a firm grip on reality & unknowingly did something they didn't realize they did, or that they didn't know it was wrong. So, that would be ...they either didn't know it, or didn't know better.
Only one designation stated the person was telling the truth.
Most people go to trial because of what they do ...not what they say.
But, what do you say??
Do you believe that Jesus is your Savior??
Many apologists have said it ...and I'm not going to apologize that I don't know who said it first, nor am I going to apologize for what they said.
You realize that He can only be our Savior ...if He was telling the truth, right??
And He is ...truthruth. Yet, truth does become an issue for some people.
Jesus had access to the Old Testament writings, and read them. He did not protest what was written there, so He approved of what it said ...and He even quoted it. An example of Him not approving of something, would be when Jesus turned over the tables of the 'money changers'.
Jesus had twelve apostles following Him. Even Judas told the truth ...as supposedly, he saw it. He truthfully told them which one Jesus was ...so they could arrest Him. The truth is ...Judas did not see things the way the other apostles did. Judas did sort of showed an admission of guilt by the fact that he killed himself afterwards.
How do you see things??
We all choose who ...and how we follow. We can believe who Jesus is, or we can choose to reject what He stands for. We can either be disciples of Jesus ...or allow the torments that overcame Judas, to also rule our lives and actions.
After Jesus was crucified for truth that others had difficulty accepting, and then was resurrected ...He spent some serious time with the eleven apostles, encouraging, directing, and giving them hope & promises. The apostles would have to endure much hardship ...and death. Yes, they would have to even die ...living for Him.
Before Jesus left them, and returned to Heaven ...there was the question of what each of them would have to go through, and Peter asked about John. Jesus said that if He chose for John to endure longer ...that was John's chosen path, and the others were just to follow the way they felt they were being led.
And I don't believe that Jesus was setting John apart for the esteemed status of others being able to consider him senile or insane. John was chosen to also write the Book of Revelation.
John was not set apart to be labeled as NGRI or IST ...he had a message that was to speak not of what we were going to do, but what God was going to do. And what God is going to do, is because of what we failed to do.
What did we fail to do??
Terrible things are to happen ...and are we to assume that we are responsible to somehow prevent those things from happening??
Really ...how could we prevent them, as they are prophesied to happen?? If we believe ...then we should not be IST (Incompetent to Stand the Truth), neither should we consider ourselves NGRI (Not Guilty by Reason of Ignorance).
First ...let's look at the first Chapter of Paul's letter to the Romans. Verse 25 begins by speaking of those who changed the truth of God to a lie ...and worshiped & served that which was created more than the Creator.
Worship includes devotion, and attention given ...which often also includes our degree of commitment in the form of investment of money we are willing to give. But, it also includes our time and effort we are willing to invest ...of which we would call ...serving.

I want a healthy environment ...yet, what is unhealthy, is when it becomes a diversion from what really matters.
In Heaven, do you imagine God would ask, "Why didn't you save the environment?"
For those who are so focused on the environment ...they often do not hear me correctly, therefore responding in a pretend shock which is more of a condemnation, "You mean, you don't care about clean water and clean air?"
And this seems to be almost always the type of response I get ...and it seems I have to say it ten times, or more that I do care about the environment. So, at this moment, that is what I'll do.

- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.

- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
- I care about the environment.
Eleven is more than ten ...so that is more, for those who require it.
But, though I believe strongly in clean water & clean air ...if we try to save our environment, I'm sorry, but though we may be able to do some things now, we will be unable to save it for future generations.
Does that mean we will fail??
Well, yes & no.
If the earth is no longer livable, it is not our failure. Our failure is in something else that goes even beyond the environment of this present earth.
I had mentioned that Jesus preserved John ...perhaps for many reasons, yet one of the special purposes was to give us insight into that which I am trying to convey. I believe Jesus conveyed it to John ---so he could convey it to us ---so we could convey it to others.
The Book of Revelation, Chapter 6, speaks of the four horses ...and more importantly, who sat on them.
Chapter 7, verse 3, speaks of a command not to hurt the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees ...until the servants of God are sealed.
Chapter 8, verse 7, speaks of the first trumpet sounding, whereas hail and fire were cast down to earth ...and a third of the trees were burnt up, and all the green grass was burnt up.
We won't be able to do anything about it. Though, just like we can do our part to try to keep our water and air clean ...as individuals, we can also personally choose not only to believe that Jesus came to die for our sins, but also to to tell us things we should know.
The Paris Agreement, or Paris Climate Accord ...aims to draw our attention, and serve a political agenda focusing on our earthly environment. And we say that we must do something for our future generations of children ...as we cannot cope with the image of our children hating us, because somehow we failed to show that we care enough about them not to destroy their environment & their future.
That's what that agreement, or accord focuses on. Yet, we are not in one accord, nor do we agree upon what is stated according to God's Word. I would that each new generation of children be told of the place God has for them ...prepared for their future eternity.
Do we succeed in doing this?? No, this is becoming our great failure.
In Chapter 16, of the Gospel According to Luke, Jesus tells of one crying out for mercy, asking for his tongue to be cooled, as he was tormented in ...this flame, as it is stated.
Consider the weather you are living in now ...and I would call what Jesus spoke of ...as climate change, or a change of climate. And when you read the according to Luke, consider what a lukewarm attitude towards what is said will bring you.
If a tornado whipped through a town and killed 3/4 of the population, and then was heading straight for your house ...well, I certainly wouldn't tell you it was nothing but a little wind. And I believe what the Bible says, so I'm not trying to merely exaggerate it to try to scare you.
But, that is what I believe is being done by others ...as they try to scare you, as a diversion from the real tragedy that is becoming a nation increasingly downgrading the Bible.
Where does that leave us??
